Key Responsibilities

• Delivery and collection of goods.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours regulations.
• Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation.
• Operate refrigerated and curtain-sided trailers.
• Load security and safe transportation of goods.
• Follow customer site procedures.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Occasional overnight stays.
• Operate specialist trailers where required.
• Work flexibly to meet operational demands.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK transport legislation.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Experience with refrigerated transport desirable.
• Forklift experience advantageous.
• PSV licence advantageous but not essential.
• Overtime available.
• Overnight allowances.
• Company pension scheme.
