HGV Class 2 Driver

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Warrington, with immediate starts available.

Our client offers consistent multidrop delivery work across the local area, with day shifts available Monday to Sunday and enhanced rates at weekends.

What's on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Day shifts averaging 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Paid weekly at the following rates:
  • Monday to Friday: 15 per hour
  • Saturday: 17 per hour
  • Sunday and bank holidays: 18 to 19 per hour

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing multidrop deliveries and collections across the local area
• Providing a professional service to customers and clients on site
• Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
• Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements

To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
