HGV Class 1 Driver

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Manchester - with immediate starts available.

Our client offers a mix of trunking and multidrop work across the North West, with consistent Monday to Friday shifts and competitive rates that increase at weekends.

What's on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, averaging 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Paid weekly at the following rates:
• Monday to Friday days: 16 per hour
• Monday to Friday nights: 17 per hour
• Saturday: 18 to 19 per hour
• Sunday and bank holidays: 19 to 20 per hour

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing trunking runs depot to depot across the North West
• Carrying out multidrop local deliveries and collections
• Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
• Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements

To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
