Class 2 Driver

MD2 Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver on behalf of our client based in Biggleswade.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver seeking long-term employment with a well-established company. The role will initially be temporary with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probationary period.
Duties:

• Carrying out deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
• Loading and unloading vehicles where required.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Complying with all driving regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A Moffett (Truck Mounted Forklift) licence would be advantageous but is not essential as training may be provided for the right candidate.
• Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work.
