Job Description
Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Bedford.
The role includes deliveries to stores across the UK, with an average of 2 3 drops of caged goods, plus some collections.
Rates of Pay: PAYE
The rate applies for the first 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, the rate will increase, and it will increase again after 27 weeks.
Night shifts available start times between 18:00-03:00.
Day rate - £17.00 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).
Afternoon rate - £18.25 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).
Night rate - £20.00 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).

Requirements

HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (Category CE)

Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience

Refrigerator unit experience preferred

Valid Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

No more than 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
