Job Description

Programme Manager – Delivery Lead – Financial Services - InfoSec – Outside IR35 contract

My financial services client is looking for a hands-on Programme Manager / Delivery Lead to lead a critical initiative within their Information Security function. This is a high-impact role with strong executive visibility, focused on regaining control of delivery pace, cost, and execution ahead of key security deadlines in 2026.

You’ll take ownership of a complex programme, aligning previously siloed delivery streams into a value-driven model that improves accountability, prioritisation, and delivery predictability. Working closely with the CTO & CISO, you’ll lead from the front - challenging plans, navigating stakeholder complexity, and driving outcomes at pace.

What we need:

  • Proven project/programme leadership experience in financial services (essential)
  • Strong track record delivering large-scale information security, cyber or related initiatives
  • Ability to operate hands-on in the detail while steering strategic outcomes
  • Expertise in value-driven delivery, prioritisation, and cost control
  • Confident stakeholder leader, able to influence across business and technology

This is an immediate requirement for someone who can bring structure, pace, and cohesion to a business-critical security programme.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months initial (long-term programme)

Location: Edinburgh (hybrid)
