People Providers are currently recruiting for Shunter / Shuttle Drivers to join a busy and prestigious client operation based in Magor.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for a stable role within a fast-paced logistics environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of trailers across site and between local facilities.

Pay Rates

• Days: £17.93 per hour (inc RHP)
• Nights: £19.05 per hour (inc RHP)
• LTD £18.00 / £19.00

Shift Pattern

4 On / 4 Off

• Days: 06 00
• Nights: 18 00

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle and tug checks, reporting any defects promptly.
• Safely shunt and position trailers across the site using a tug unit.
• Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to maintain the smooth flow of trailers and site operations.
• Shuttle trailers between the Brewery and Gwent Park as required.
• Adhere to all site health and safety procedures and operational standards.
• Ensure all movements are completed safely, efficiently, and within operational requirements.

Skills & Experience Required

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• In-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous shunting experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided for candidates willing to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative when required.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Proven history of safe and professional driving.
