Are you a reliable and motivated HGV Driver looking for a role where you can make a real difference in your local community? We are seeking a Refuse Driver to join our clients dedicated waste and recycling team, helping to keep our streets clean and our communities running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive collection vehicles safely and efficiently along designated routes.
- Lead and support a small crew to ensure waste and recycling collections are completed on time.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents and businesses.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions as part of a supportive and hardworking team.
- Assist loaders with collection duties when required.
What We're Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- A safe and responsible driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work.
- Willingness to support operational duties beyond driving when needed.
