What You Will Be Doing
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining HGVs, LGVs and trailers to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment as an experienced HGV Mechanic
- Completing safety inspections to DVSA standards accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate job cards and documentation throughout
- Upholding high workshop standards at all times

What You Will Need
To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Technician within a commercial vehicle environment
- Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence and IRTEC accreditation (desirable)
