Class 2 Driver
Manpower is currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 Refuse Drivers (RCV) to join a well-established and reputable waste management company based in Gloucester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for ongoing work, with a temp-to-perm opportunity available for the right candidates. Immediate starts are available.
The Role
As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will be working across Gloucestershire, operating an RCV vehicle and supporting commercial waste and recycling collections.
Your duties will include:
- Driving Class 2 (Category C) Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs)
- Collecting waste and recycling from commercial premises
- Delivering and exchanging bins where required
- Completing daily vehicle checks and relevant paperwork/logs
- Ensuring loads are safely secured at all times
- Providing a professional and courteous service on all routes
Shift Details
- Early morning starts: 4:00am or 5:00am
- Full-time, ongoing work
What We're Looking For
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
- Valid CPC card
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience driving RCVs or similar vehicles (desirable but not essential)
- A reliable, safety-conscious, and professional attitude
