R&V is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing trunking assignments across multiple depots.

Job Description for HGV Class 1 Driver

• Trunking work.
• Deliver goods to specified locations in line with the delivery schedule.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of transport operations.
• Effectively manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Working Time Regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures.
• Ensure proofs of delivery (PODs) are signed and returned to Transport after delivery.
• Meet fuel-efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

Essential Requirements for HGV Class 1 Driver

• Minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience.
• Full UK C+E (Class 1) licence, valid CPC and Digi/Tachograph card.
• National Insurance number.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Good level of English.
• Flexibility with start times.
